just a few days away...

really did my soul some good.  surrounding myself with good, positive people, a beautiful place and exploring aplenty is just what i needed.  there's something about s. fla. that clicks with me...  my buddy, jacob (hooray for being my texting tour guide) loves his home town and rightfully so.

this place rules!

hugs to my gal pal erin for allowing me to take a deep breath and my road trip companion for singing along to silly tunes.

[to] be alive

jeremy and i made the decision a little over two years ago to move.. not far away, but far enough from the most important people outside our family- our friends. while it's been great making new friends and meeting new people in our neighborhoods, nothing beats getting together with the people that make us feel whole. cheesy? yes. sincere? totally! it's been a transcending year, we're all getting older [eek] and busier [yuck], which make these short visits far and few between.

saturday's visit to the little big city in central florida wound up with good wine, candy, puppy playtime, make your face hurt laughing fits, bar hops, tapas, strippers and absolutely fantastic people.

while i don't have the boys pictures from bachelor party debauchery, i do have a few snaps from the photobooth at the koerper's casa.

we're very serious about not acting our age and embracing our inner 8 year old.

thank you patrick hernandez // born to be alive

gotta get an rv

how sweet are these things... i love airstreams, they are sleek and sexy. i've always wanted to take one cross country, one day it will happen! i have been itching to drive out to dover fl for awhile to catch a sight of the airstream ranch. they look almost like tombstones of... silver beasts, up straight with a slight tilt, glimmering in all their former glory. this morning i drove out there, coffee in tow and airstreams on my mind. way out on a country dirt road, down a whirly path and over mushy land i arrived. they are massive! i stood underneath the tallest one in the middle and told myself how screwed i would be if it decided to uproot itself and tumble.

doing some edits today, expect new photos soon. also- little plug for myself, i've been working on a site finally. it's a work in progress but it's something! check it and i welcome constructive criticism - birdlime
